That is actually an 'xray' (although it has nothing to do with x-rays) of that dude's wrist. It is showing all his major blood vessels and muscles, and it mainly involves an infrared beam.

The obvious medical implications of this tech is amazing. Just imagine if this was available the last time I was at the hospital, I wouldnt have been pierced in the wrong place for a drip treatment.
